Why do you wish to become a 2LT?:
I wish to become a 2LT because I have been greatly enjoying the 104th and want to fully commit my support to the battalion. I would like to strengthen the currently small officer team by actively hosting SIMs and trainings, as well as taking on greater responsibility and working more closely with the 104th command team.

What makes you qualified to become a 2LT over other candidates?:
What qualifies me is my prior experience as an officer and as a commander in a different battalion for an extended period of time. Although it was in another battalion, I can still bring valuable experience and leadership skills to this role.

Additionally, my activity level is another strong qualification. I am active almost every day for at least 2–3 hours, unless I have something important to attend to.

What is the job of a 2LT in the Battalion?:
A 2nd LT serves as a bridge between the NCOs and the battalion’s command team, ensuring that complaints, recommendations, and other matters are properly passed up the chain of command.

Additionally, a 2nd LT promotes newer members of the battalion as a reward for activity and strong performance in the field. Furthermore, a 2nd LT hosts simulations and trainings to maintain battalion activity and foster interaction with other battalions.

Why should you be trusted with 2LT?:
I should be trusted with the role of 2nd LT due to my previous experience, reliability, and consistent activity. Appointing me would also help improve the battalion’s image by demonstrating that not only our NCOs are active, but that our officer team though small is active and engaged as well.
