Description:

An addon that removes that annoying ringing sound after an explosion. Seems to work with anything explosive from what I tested, so hopefully it works on a server.

Why add this?:

Some people, like myself, have found the ringing noise after explosions to be both grating and sometimes even harmful when it comes to things like bombing runs or any situation involving rapid explosions during battle/training. With this, if it does work, would be AMAZING to have as a mini quality of life addition. Plus there are a couple of people who already has tinnitus like myself whose hearing gets aggravated at times from the ringing.

Don't get me wrong, it's awesome for realism but that is the only reason it leans Neutral. That ringing can get pretty grating at times so I'd see no issue with removing it.

I personally like the immersion it provides, nothing better then eating a HE shell and staring at your vcmdr while they scream at you and all you can hear is that ringing

Management was split on this one, so we made a compromise. The F4 menu now has a "Tinnitus Toggle" that should work per player. If you don't want to hear it then hit that button and if you miss the ringing in your ears then you can turn it back on. If there are any issues with this then please report it through a support ticket!
