63 hoursWhy do you wish to become a 2LT?:
I believe, given my goals and the current state of the battalion, there is a lot of room for work within the battalion and I can assist in a lot of aspects such as establishing and running joint trainings and or operations with other battalions and SF which would give more opportunities to display how the 104th are supposed to operate in a combat field and give new recruits a deeper understanding of what is expected of them when called upon. Another goal that I have is to increase the amount of interest we have in the battalion, hopefully giving our NCO increased trainings of recruits and more units within our battalion. In regards to SF in particular, I would like to establish a want to work with us through dispatching higher NCO and regimental 104th ARCs with SF on particular missions, whether it be escorts, sieges, or the establishment of bases, I believe, under certain circumstances, that the 104th can prove to be a vital asset to SF missions. To add further onto to the SF aspect of this, I would like to further promote 104th regimental arc within the battalion by giving my own recommendations to our current VCMDs of who needs to be watched and preparing those who wish to join the regimental arcs, hopefully increasing and filling out our ARC slots.
What makes you qualified to become a 2LT over other candidates?:
Through each mission given to me, I always try to lead by example by deploying vehicle assets, providing a quick repair, and commanding our enlisted when there is no command available. It is my belief that I can train others within the battalion to provide quick repairs and effective, nondetrimental, use of our heavy equipment. Each mission I always try to establish a communication with command and being a 2LT will give me a quicker and easier line to command so that vehicles do not become scrambled and we lose vital assets due to miscommunication and improper defense.
What is the job of a 2LT in the Battalion?:
A good 2LT leads through example, at the front lines commanding vehicles and vital assets to make sure the mission goes smoothly without loss. A good 2LT establishes communication with command to confirm the mission and orders so that each asset and trooper is in the right location at the right time. Finally A good 2LT effectively communicates with units under them by establishing order and relaying commands given to them to other command near them. These are just a few things I believe I can establish as a 2LT within the 104th.
Why should you be trusted with 2LT?:
With the tools of an officer given to me, I see no reason to misuse or abuse this power whether it be for comedic reasons or not. At this time 104th does not have a officer ARC within the battalion and I only wish to not be the only one and to encourage others within our battalion to apply.
