# 7Gqh0aB35cMTJyrc1. In-Game Name:
Jedi Padawan I Gorfbus
2. Server / Staff Rank:
Jedi Padawan I Gorfbus
3. Why would you like to become a Gamemaster Coordinator?
I am applying to become a GMC because I want to take a proactive role in assisting our GM team as well as support the community I love. I also want to bring more depth and emotion to the missions we run.
4. If accepted the position what can you bring to the table as a Gamemaster Coordinator?
I have worked in similar roles on both FiveM and RedM servers where I served as the event coordinator. I would create a story, design missions around that, and sculpt the world accordingly. Not all events/missions ai created were attack this base and extract. I also love making small impactful, or what I would call “side-missions”. For example on a FiveM server I hosted a Top Cop event where different agencies could compete for the title. I had various obstacle courses setup, a section where the officer had to chase a suspect and give their full discretion and direction of travel, a SOP quiz and more. I feel like I could bring that same passion to this server as well.
5. If you see anyone using their powers off duty as in spawning stuff, freezing people, or arresting people (the job doesn’t come with an arrest stick) how would you respond if it was the first time?
I believe there is a time and place for said things. I witness these things occurring in the early morning hours or mid afternoon before most people get on. I believe as long as they are not doing it when the server is active or during an event, or that it doesn’t upset anyone, then it should be fine. But to answer your question, I believe in the practice of praising peers in public and reminding them of rules in private. If it got out of hand I would discreetly inform a supervisor.
5a. From the previous question, what if the same stuff happened multiple times in the past, how would you proceed?
I know you probably want me to say “report it to my supervisor” but I see command/staff/gmc do it daily like I mentioned before. It’s just the nature of the server. I still will report if it gets out of hand.
6. A Gamemaster is having a crappy event, What would you do and say??
Sometimes crappy events are the best. Not every event needs to be super strict and mission oriented. Earlier today we had an event where the GMC gave a bad briefing and commands in game but everyone still had a blast. Also that GM might be doing their best and I don’t want to shoot down their hard work. Now if the event had a lot of problems and players weren’t liking it then I would probably just DM them with some kind professional advice.
7. Any warnings? (Staff/GM/Server Strikes)
No, I have been good.
(You will be on a 2-4 week trial of GMC, the decision can be undone at any point.)
