I have been a member of the Staff team since December 1st, so 79 days as of today.

Have you had past experience as Forum Admin:
On my previous server GamingLight, I held both their Forums Admin, and Forums Admin Lead until I was promoted to Head Admin. At which time I was given full Forums Perms for the SCP server page.

Why should you become a Forum Admin:
I believe I should become a Forum Admin to help with the backlog of posts that are simply not taken care of. Applications that are accepted and/or denied, yet not moved to their relevant sub-thread. Applications or threads that are over, however not locked. If there is a reason as to why this isn’t the case, than I am blissfully unaware. However I know that I have all of the relevant experience and knowledge to swiftly and effectively complete these tasks, and help keep the forums in a more polished state.

How would you deal with a situation where a user is spamming in various topics due to being banned?
Any user who has banned and takes their complaints or issues to the forums is completely in their right. However if in this process they spam on others post, or act indifferent towards their punishment, then they should and will be restricted from posting for a reasonable amount of time. Should their spam include malicious content, the restriction would be elevated to a forums ban. At which point in time they would be fully restricted from even viewing the forums for up to an indefinite time period. Hopefully the original restriction would force them to come to their senses, however some situations may require drastic measures.

How would you deal with a situation in which an argument has broken out in a topic?
The first step that any member of the Forums team should take is to make a message about ceasing any arguments or hostility, and state that further actions will result in some variation of punishment. Something that fits their actions. If the individual(s) continue after this warning, I would immediately restrict said individual from posting on the forms for x amount of time. X being determined by their actions. If needed I would escalate their punishment to someone who has the authority to ban or blacklist from the forums. Ultimately the goal is the allow the original forums post to continue having healthy and relevant conversations, so whatever actions taken towards the offending individuals to allow a continuous healthy discussion should be minimal as to not interrupt the rest of the playerbase. If the post gets out of hand, and has “lost its plot” if you will, then the only option is to lock the post, and state the reason why it is being locked so the vast majority are aware.
