Known History: Etrius was first encountered on the Planet [ERROR! CORRUPTED DATA] by a Jedi Strike team consisting of Master Leie Sistal, his Padawan Lumina Vatali, and Knights Vik Zhe, Rahm Kota, and Taria Damsin. Investigating reports of a Sith Cult at the behest of the Order of Shasa, a force sensitive group on Manaan. Upon tracking down the cult's base of operations, the strike team came across no bodies, living or otherwise. The crashed ship they had made into their temple had been cleared of supplies and artifacts, leaving behind dried blood and a handful of audio logs.

[PLAYBACK]: “it's back! I… I thought it would never return! Master Rikkar went out to hunt that damned beast but… his screams went on for… I don't even know, ten? Twenty minutes? He couldn't have gone far! Maybe two hundred feet at the most from the ship. I… wait… Master Rikkar is coming back? Wait… No! NO! That's not Master Rikkar! THAT'S NOT-” [End of Playback]

[PLAYBACK]: “It's toying with us! I knew Master Rikkar didn't make it! He was gone for far too long! Every now and then I'll hear one of the other acolytes screaming… that… accursed laugh… it'll haunt my nightmares for the rest of my life. Master Rikkar said the Dark Side can awaken dangerous spirits but… this? This is a demon!” [Another, separate voice would speak over the log] “I prefer to think of myself an Angel.” [End of Playback]

The Strike Team, thanks to Taria’s tracking abilities, followed the so-called “Angel” to a cave a few miles away. They were met inside by a Zabrak male, many bones of various origin picked clean of meat, and a “trophy” shelf consisting of various lightsabers and skulls. Upon initial contact, the Zabrak appeared to be strangely friendly, even offering the Jedi a cup of tea. Further questioning, led by Master Sistal, revealed that Zabrak called himself “Etrius” and he was indeed the one who hunted the cultists nearby because they “Disturbed the balance of this planet.” Etrius appeared to be quite collected in his thoughts, and familiar with the Jedi Order, even reciting the Jedi Code to the Team. They made no attempt to dissuade the Jedi, and seemingly made no attempt to misinform the team either. However they did get defensive upon the team's attempt to bring them into custody and ignited a pair of lightsabers with dark inners, a purple blade, and a green blade, and engaged the team in a duel. Etrius was able to disarm both Knight Kota, and Padawan Vatali. However was knocked unconscious by Master Sistal's use of Force Judgement.

While being transported back to Coruscant for judgement by the High Council. Master Sistal tried to question the now conscious Etrius once more, only to find a nearly perfect replica of himself meditating in the cell who was identified as Etrius. Etrius held no hard feelings for the Jedi as they were merely doing their duty “as he had long ago” and remained congruent in answering the questions asked of him, though when asked what Etrius meant by the above quote, he merely smiled at Master Sistal, tilting his head slightly. 

Upon return to Coruscant, the Jedi Temple Guard retrieved Etrius, now undertaking the form of a Gungan, from Master Sistal's transport to be brought before the Jedi High Council to decide his fate. While he was open and honest with the council, Grandmaster Yoda decided to have Etrius accompany him in a meditation session and suspended the matter temporarily. During this time, the Head Archivist, [ERROR! DATA CORRUPTED] was tasked with scouring the library for any and all records of Etrius within the order. The only matching records being from 310 BTC (3063 BBY) as the name and description matched one of the many “Fallen” Jedi who joined the Revanchist Movement against the council's wishes. Reportedly, in 303 BTC (3956 BBY) the Jedi Strike Team sent to capture Darth Revan was reportedly engaged by a Sith outside the bridge of Revan's flagship matching his description, though it killed two of the strike team members. They were presumed dead when they were struck down. It is unclear if this is the same individual, as questioning on this matter results in varied answers.

After three days Master Yoda reconvened the council, it is unknown what Master Yoda and Etrius spoke about, nor what Master Yoda said to the council. However Etrius was instated into the Jedi Order upon Master Xywyn’s agreement to take him as her Padawan and the knowledge he was to be heavily monitored, Etrius accepted these conditions. Etrius acted as… a surprisingly well put together Jedi from reports, acting as a voice of reason more often than not. However Masters Xywyn and Sistal did note a few concerns, as recorded.

[PLAYBACK]: “Padawan Etrius, by all accounts, has been a very good Jedi. However I would be remiss to not note that the dark side claws at his mind, he does not fear it, nor does he deny it. However he had no qualms against using it either, upon our recent mission to Kashyyyk to find a reported Dark Force User, we-” [ERROR, PLAYBACK CORRUPTED] “-us fights with a bloodthirst unlike a Jedi, and more akin to-” [ERROR, PLAYBACK CORRUPTED][End of Playback]

Etrius went through his trials quickly, almost as if he had done them before, once being knighted Etrius began taking missions on his own. Conducted with brutal efficiency, and often with minimal knowledge by outside sources, he was considered a perfect candidate for [REDACTED]. As time went on, Etrius was granted the rank of master after training a padawan of his own, a Zabrak female named Katana. And conducting the duties required of him. Etrius was eventually assigned to the Jedi Temple on Anaxes to assist the Republic war effort. Etrius was later appointed to the seat of [DATA CORRUPTED] on the [DATA CORRUPTED] where [ERROR, DATA CORRUPTED]
