# vvqG5eKXSCmrTgkuWhat is your in-game name?:
21st LTCOL Ekerson 9916
What rank are you applying for?:
Vice Commander Jet
What regiment are you applying for?:
21st Nova Corps Marines
Why do you wish to become a Command member?:
I wish to become a Command member for four key reasons:
To support Commander Bacara (Zeref) and strengthen the leadership team:
Zeref has worked tirelessly to shape the 21st Nova Corps into what it is today. I want to assist him in carrying that weight and help push our battalion forward. I’ve been committed to the 21st since the day I joined, and this position would allow me to more effectively contribute to our continued growth.
To guide the 21st through its ongoing revamps and serve as a bridge between troopers and command:
The battalion is undergoing major changes, and I want to help ensure smooth communication, strong structure, and a clear direction. As Vice Commander, I can support our Commander by taking on responsibilities that keep the battalion running cleanly, while making sure every trooper’s voice is heard and considered.
To help the battalion grow in strength, morale, and activity:
I love the Marines and deeply value the identity of the 21st. My goal is to help build a battalion environment that is disciplined, serious when needed, but also fun, engaging, and rewarding. As Jet, I can help open space in the roster, promote healthy activity, initiate RP-focused operations, and coordinate with other command teams to keep the battalion involved and energized.
To give back the same welcome, mentorship, and support that was given to me:
Zeref was the first person who showed me the ropes and made me feel at home in this community. I want to be that figure for every new trooper who joins our ranks, someone who helps them grow, feel valued, and aspire to greater responsibilities. The Vice Commander role would allow me to fill that mentorship position with even greater impact.
How much time do you have on the server?:
225 hours
What are the duties of a Command member?:
A Vice Commander serves as one of the primary leaders of the battalion, positioned directly between the Commander and the officers/NCOs. Their duties include:
Ensuring documents, SOPs, and rosters stay accurate and updated
Maintaining battalion discipline and enforcing standards fairly
Granting promotions, and requesting demotions/issuing punishments when necessary
Working closely with the Commander to implement battalion-wide changes
Communicating regularly with the Commander about battalion performance, concerns, and needed updates so that accurate information can be relayed to High Command
Supporting officers, NCOs, and troopers in their duties and helping them grow
Leading the battalion in deployments, events, and RP scenarios
Upholding the image and professionalism of the 21st at all times
A Command member must be firm but fair, accountable for their actions, and willing to take responsibility for the battalion—not just when things go right, but especially when things go wrong.
Why should we trust you with this position?:
I have been a loyal member of the 21st Nova Corps since the day I joined the server, and I have no intentions of pursuing any other life. My actions have always been rooted in what is best for the battalion, not just for myself. I’ve consistently put the growth of newer troopers ahead of personal advancement, choosing not to pursue sub-units so others could have opportunities to shine.
Those within the Corps can speak to my character, my consistency, and my willingness to step up when needed. I hold myself to the standards expected of command: discipline, communication, accountability, and respect. If I make a mistake, I own it and correct it. If someone else makes a mistake, I help them learn from it rather than cast them aside.
I believe I can bring stability, guidance, and a strong work ethic to the Vice Commander position, while continuing to uphold the identity and values that make the 21st Nova Corps special.
How often can you be online?:
I strive to be online every day. Realistically, I can guarantee 1 likely 2 hours daily, with four days a week comfortably reaching 3+ hours. If called upon, I can commit additional time as needed, barring real-life obligations.
Do you have any warns?:
No Sir.
Final Note:
I understand that I have not been on the server as long as some others, and I accept that this application may be denied. However, I ask that it be given fair consideration. If there is someone within the 21st who is better suited for the role, I fully support choosing the best path for the battalion.
Regardless of the outcome, I appreciate the time taken to read and evaluate this application.
