Why do you wish to Become a 2LT: I’d like to become a 2LT because I want to take a larger role in improving Shock and the experience of the people around me. Since joining, Shock has quickly become a group I can see myself sticking with long term. Becoming an officer would give me the opportunity to support the ranks below me, help newer members find their place in shock (whether it's Riot, ARC, or Senate Guard), and represent & advocate their interests to the ranks above me.
What makes you qualified to become an officer over other candidates: I possess a unique understanding of the duties of being an officer due to my experience being low command & a NULL ARC in Rancor. I'm not only involved with the battalion-end, but I also help manage and dictate the ARC program. I have the discipline, commitment, and long-term outlook that allows me to provide correct, competent insights to Shock.
What is the job of a 2LT In the Battalion: A 2LT is responsible for helping lead Shock both during events and outside of them. This includes setting an example for enlisted members and NCOs, helping with the induction and development of newer members, and making sure the battalion stays organized and active. I would also serve as the bridge between lower & higher ranks.
Why should you be trusted with the responsibilities of an officer: I’ve shown that I can be capable, reliable, and supportive towards the people around me within Shock. I take responsibility seriously, but I also understand that being an officer isn’t just about authority/handing out orders. It’s about being someone others can rely on. If I was trusted with 2LT, I’d remain active, approachable, supportive, and committed, all while doing what I can to make Shock better for everyone inside of it.
