Suggestion Description:

Expansion of the Current Builder Role

With how Builder role is currently handled, It is given to Command+ and Low Command in the absence of Command. I propose an extension allowing people who meet certain Criteria to apply for Builder on the Forums, These players will have the builder role to help enhance situations whether it is building unique dupes for players to interact with, or hosting regimental SIM’s or other activities for their given regiment. Applications would be handled by Super Admins or potentially GMC+

Why add this?:

With City Life coming around, This will give trusted members of community the ability to make decorative bases, and other random encounters you would find throughout the city such as a Hobo Town, or even a Senate Building Barricade if the Mayor chooses corruption.

The way I've always seen the Builder role is that it's meant to allow Command/Low Command to put together their own stuff without a GM in the event they aren't on and set up things for their own use for their battalion, like bunks and such. Opening it up any more would basically just be less committal GMs.

If this were already an approved role, I would’ve applied immediately. I genuinely enjoy building SIMs for battalion training (I used to build SIMs out for other servers I participated in), and I think adding a position like this—paired with the right restrictions, such as limiting applications to Team Leads or Officers—would be a huge asset. It would streamline training, reduce downtime waiting on a GM/Staff member, and give hosts the flexibility to build out scenarios even when staff aren’t available. Over time, I think it would also strengthen the overall player base by making training more engaging and accessible.

Splendid proposition to promote SIMs, Battalion Activities, Trainings & Lessons. When they, the commonplace finally acquaint thine the ways of a constructor (Builder), we shall sow the seeds; to allow oneself to emerge from the cocoon and spread thy wings for the world to gaze upon its incandescence. The fears of paranoia are not without merit however. For there could potentially come a day in the eons where someone will become a transgressor, devoid of sane function. Pray thee shan't bare witness to such, as it is much agreeable to input that qualifications stated above should generally suffice, and let thy actions determine the way ahead. Theory suggests this should all ease the stressors of our current generation of the High Table and the equivalent of said prestige. (Command, etc.)
