Why do you wish to Become a 2LT: I want to apply for 2LT because I think I can genuinely help Shock with its need for active members including officers. Shock only functions well when leadership is present and engaged, and I want to be part of making sure that happens consistently. Additionally, since I've joined Shock I've seen it continually improve and I want to help keep it moving in the right direction. I want to help Shock grow while also staying organized and well run, while also making sure it stays a fun, welcoming place for new players to join. Leadership sets the tone for the whole battalion, and I want to be someone who contributes to that in a positive way rather than just filling a rank.
What makes you qualified to become an officer over other candidates: I think overall, my best trait in being qualified for being an officer is responsibility. If I am given a task it will be completed in a timely matter and I will set a good example for the enlisted and NCO's. Additionally, I'd like to think I keep things interesting and keep new players engaged even when events aren't going on.
What is the job of a 2LT In the Battalion: 2LTs are the the base tier of Shock leadership. They enforce shock procedure, supervise NCOs, and give enlisted members directions and proper training. Part of the job is also making sure people enjoy their time in Shock, since that's what keeps players coming back.
Why should you be trusted with the responsibilities of an officer: I am responsible, I know how to keep players engaged, I've consistently learned and followed the SOP, I've been one of the most active Shock, and can offer another helping hand in continuing to improve the direction of the battalion.
