Suggestion Description:
Main Rework Focus:
Reworking 501st with the changes below from a Defensive Battalion to an Offensive Elite Infantry Battalion with tools and weapons to assist frontline work, Breach n clear, combat etc and being a bit more lore accurate with a few adjustments.

Remove Police Shields from Officer and NCO jobs and remove the republic shield from enlisted job and replace it with the squad bubble shield: Remove the police shields from officer and NCO jobs and keep it on the torrent/ARC/VCMDR+ jobs, then remove the republic shield from the enlisted job and replace it with the squad bubble shield for frontline combat/cover purposes (and be more unique along the other battalion enlisted jobs.)
Remove Thermals from the NCO job and Add Scan Grenades to NCO+ Jobs (NCO, Officer, ARC, Appo, Dogma and VCMDR/CMDR): remove thermals from NCO in place of scan grenades and put scan grenades on Officer, ARC, Appo, Dogma and VCMDR/CMDR jobs for breach n clear and elite infantry specialties.
Remove Troop Transport from 501st (not the server) completely and replace it with the CK-6 swoop bike for Torrent company (and offering troop transport to Naval): Remove troop transport from the 501st Legion Jobs below F4 Menu’s and replace with the CK-6 swoop bike being added to torrent company/VCMDR+ F4 Menu’s in place of it! Also wanting to offer the troop transport to naval if they wish due to 501st not gonna be wanting to use it anymore that is if they want the troop transport.
Raise RPM’s/Fire Rates of 501st DC15a and Dual DC15s: Raising the 501st DC15a RPM from 300 to 400 and raising dual DC15s RPM from 300 to 350 for better fire rate in combat/frontlines and to be more efficient in combat.

These two VCMDR’s are well known and the most respectable members of 501st and have assisted Rex in the front for a long while and participated in many battles.

Scan Grenade Suggested Settings (in q menu in utilities under Scan tools in scan grenade settings):
Scan Radius (limited radius where the scan grenade can scan): 500
Scan Duration (time on the scan on NPC’s last after grenade is out after pulsing): 15-20 seconds
Pulse Count (how many times the grenade will pulse before vanishing and yes its gone after the amount of pulses): 5 times/pulses
Pulse Interventals (seconds/time between each pulse, meaning combined with the pulses is how miuch time the grenade stays there before vanishing): 2 seconds
Management is free to adjust scan grenades settings however they seem fit to be balanced, this is the settings we recommend for it and what they mean/do.

Police/Republic Shield removal from NCO/Officer/Enlisted jobs and Squad shield replacement Reasoning:
Reason we are removing the police shields from the NCO and Officer jobs is cause we wanna restrict it to torrent/ARC aka purely a sub unit weapon as it can be kinda easily abused, plus considering we are moving away from defensive it makes sense for only torrent to have the police shield as they are Heavy Defensive, and ARC cause it makes sense for ARC to keep it as they would be the combination of our sub units kinda and are our elite unit so makes sense for them to keep it as well. As for the republic shield on enlisted job, it sucks. Literally sucks, can only block a few blaster bolts in a few areas but most you can blast through, even the sides and windows and you cannot even shoot back from. However the bubble is more deployable and allows the trooper to deploy defensively while still participating in combat.
If anyone is worried that it could be abused, don't worry, because the squad shield only lasts for 30 seconds and cooldown is 3 minutes. Plus its not that abusable really as it can only reach a maximum limit and you can peak/leave the bubble shield. Plus, the main reason is because compared to all other enlisted jobs, ours isn't appealing, unique or enticing. For example: “21st enlisted could do biohazards immediately, 212th enlisted have emp grenades, naval enlisted inspections and passive rp, medical enlisted medical rp, shock is shock, jedi is jedi, RC?Rancor are SF with unique looking enlisted kits, 41st enlisted scouting/snipers and 104th engineer RP and tanks.” compared to that our enlisted are just blasters and plain shields that aren’t even that good. However the bubble shield is 501st only and is open to most of our jobs, it makes sense for our enlisted to have it is a thing we have and makes sense if we are moving towards an elite infantry like battalion, and troopers would be more willing to join 501st as enlisted as we would have more options on the enlisted job for them and we would be unique/equal to other battalions enlisted jobs, for ours definitely could use the bubble shield as its unique and not easy to abuse.

Scan Grenade addition on NCO+ jobs/replacing thermal on NCO job Reasoning:
Reason we wanna add this is because it's unique, no one has this, and because it can help a lot with breach n clear, detecting hostiles/VIP’s in a room and perfect for combat. This basically is a grenade where when thrown, it cant detect NPC’s for a certain amount of time depending on the settings, so management can edit those settings as they please so it isn't too op and cause issues (recommended settings should be up above the reasons). Plus it's like the thermal grenade when thrown so it can bounce off walls if thrown hard and such and roll around, so you gotta aim well with what you wanna scan, and this only highlights NPC’s/Players. You can input certain models and NPC’s in settings so it wont detect it but most stuff yes it can detect if NPC/Player. This would benefit 501st greatly for breach n clearing and make up for the loss of the police shield on the NCO/Officer jobs, and reason we making it NCO+ is cause it is more abusable then the squad shield so makes sense for only NCO+ to have it and not enlisted. As for thermals being removed from NCO, its cause having two grenades would be too op on the NCO job so we have to remove thermals in place of the scan grenades. But Officers are more responsible so they get to keep theirs ARC however is because we dont wanna outmatch torrent that arent getting scan grenades and ARC would have 3, so after talking with one of our ARC we are removing their thermals in place of the scan grenade while keep the impact ones. Plus it would encourage people to go to the NCO jobs more as they would get something else then just blasters especially since we are giving enlisted the bubble shields and would fit our elite infantry criteria and would definitely make us stand out more and not be basic/generic compared to other battalions. Also the reason why appo/dogma get the scan grenade and not tup/hardcase in torrent company is cause appo/dogma or lead/vice lead and we dont want HALF of torrent to have scan grenades so only people in torrent that will have it will be the lead and vice lead.

CK-6 Swoop bike addition/Troop transport removal from 501st only Reasoning:
The Reason we wanna get the CK-6 swoop bike is because even though the troop transport is decent, its very weak, not good for combat and only a few scenarios where we can do main force transportation for it and we don't get to do it most of the time. The swoop bike on the other hand is made for combat, 501st has actually had this in lore, and is faster/more effective in combat.
Before anyone says “is it too similar to the Barc speeder?” not really, cause after testing the difference between them, the BARC speeder is hard to drive and aim in terms of combat and maneuverability, sure its good for scouting but can be hard to steer and aim for combat. The swoop bike on the other hand is GREAT at turning and maneuverability, able to move with ease and has better aiming so instead of shooting in FRONT of it, it shoots wherever you're aiming at in its vicinity as long as you're facing the right direction, that is lol. This would be perfect when going in dense/tough/urban terrain so we won't be crashing as much compared to the BARC speeder. The key difference though is that it has a boost. That's right, the same boost our republic fighters have when holding mouse 1 down, you go fast. This is perfect if we wanna get to the frontlines faster and to get out of intense situations like artillery bombardments or intense fire.
I will say that the swoop bike will NOT be used for scouting in torrent as torrent is not a scouting unit. The swoop bike will only be used for frontline combat/combat in general and to get to the frontlines quicker. As for why torrent is getting it is because we want at least one sub unit with a vehicle and we wanna hang on with the AT-PT on arc for now. Plus technically torrent had the swoop bike so it's more lore accurate for them to have it.
As for the troop transport, we wanna remove it from 501st because we cant really have THREE vehicles so in terms of combat and lore accuracy, we are removing the troop transport from 501st completely. However that doesnt mean we wanna remove it on the server for it still has its uses, so we wanna offer the troop transport to naval if possible, naval can use however they wish as long as they can have it. Why we wanna offer the troop transport to naval is because WHO ELSE would have it? Makes sense for naval to have it cause its a passive vehicle and they could have another to do in offmaps/events which is main force transportation, though not up to me to decide how they use it, up to them if they want it, but overall we wanna offer the troop transport to naval as it would be the only battalion that makes sense to have it.
Overall for the swoop bike, it would make a fantastic addition to torrent and give us a new attack vehicle and be more appealing for new recruits and hopefully gain more attraction.

Raising RPM/Firerate on 501st DC15a and Dual DC15s Reasoning:
The main reason we wanna raise the fire rate is cause 300 is a bit too slow, especially for the 501st DC15a, while we understand that 600/650 RPM was too much, 300 is too slow for combat and i have gotten word from some of my NCO’s in 501st that its an issue for the combat training of the tryout for our enlisted, plus too slow when breach n clearing and trying to shoot at droids, so we atleast want the RPM for the 501st DC15a to be raised a little from 300 to 400 so it isn't as slow. As for the Dual DC15s, we only want a slight increase as it's kinda fine right now but still slow compared to all the other weapons torrent has so we wanna raise the fire rate a little. Overall I definitely think the RPM raise is necessary in terms of combat/breach n clear and shouldn't be a big deal to add.

Main Elite Infantry Rework Reasons:
Main reason for these updates is mainly because the defensive battalion bit is not working any more. Sure it was good at first but like I said in the last suggestion it backfired and we are too generic/basic looking compared to all other battalions.
Which is why we wanna be an elite infantry battalion with utilities that assist us in frontline work/combat. With the bubble shield for enlisted would definitely bring more attention for new recruits and the scan grenades making up for the police shield in NCO+ for people to work towards. Both of these tools are unique and no one else has them and would definitely benefit 501st into making us into elite infantry, for elite infantry troopers definitely have tools like this to assist in the field.
Overall, 501st desperately need to stand out from being defensive and be more offensive and lore accurate, for right now besides out sub unit(s) we do not feel equally unique to other battalions especially our brother battalion 212th, for we desperately definitely need these changes in other to be more generic and have more stuff to do in missions and such and actually stand out compared to other battalions.
